After being eliminated by the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday, the Brooklyn Nets enter the offseason with a lot of question marks since they will have 9 free agents, which includes Spencer Dinwiddie who plans to decline his $12.3 million player option.

The other Brooklyn players entering free agency will be Blake Griffin, Bruce Brown, Timothe Lawuwu-Cabarrot, Tyler Johnson, Jeff Green, Mike James, Chris Chiozza, and Reggie Perry.

The biggest name out of all those is Dinwiddie, even though the reserve point guard was injured most of the season. He is a quality backup, who was a Sixth Man of the Year candidate last season. The Nets would love to engage in sign-and-trade talks involving Dinwiddie this summer.

In fact, they showed interest in Golden State's Kelly Oubre and Los Angeles' Kyle Kuzma during the deadline. Oubre is entering free agency as well, so if the Nets still have interest in him, they would have to discuss a sign-and-trade on both ends. Kuzma will be under contract and is owed $13 million for next season, which means only the Nets have to sign Dinwiddie and then trade him.

With the Lakers also expected to trade Kuzma, the Nets would make for a terrific trade partner.

There are also rumors that if Al Horford is bought out by the Boston Celtics, then the Nets would be interested in signing him. They would basically do what they did this season by signing players for less in the buyout market.

The Nets have a lot of decisions to make, including signing their big 3 to extensions. It will be interesting to see how they build a team around them this time around.
