After a masterful performance by Kevin Durant, the whole Twitter world was buzzing, including many NBA players, past and present, who appreciated his greatness.

LeBron James showed his respects with this Tweet:

LeBron's former teammate, who also played against Durant in the NBA Finals in years past, chimed in as well:

Durant's performance even had a former NBA great in Allen Iverson show appreciation.

And even great point guards Magic Johnson and Isiah Thomas:

And here is a couple from his old teammates:

Durant dropped 49 points, 17 rebounds, and 10 assists, playing the entire 48 minutes in Game 5 to lead Brooklyn to a 114-108 win over Milwaukee. He became the first player to put up a statline of 45, 15, and 10 in the playoffs.

Then there was C.J. McCollum, who was actively Tweeting during the game:

No question, Durant's performance turned heads. Brooklyn was missing Kyrie Irving, and James Harden was playing hurt, so Durant took it upon himself to save the season for his team. Best player in the world? Durant definitely proved that Tuesday night.
