The Portland Trail Blazers may be headed towards a rebuild or might just reconstruct the roster around Damian Lillard. In any case, C.J. McCollum seems to be their biggest trade chip, as it's becoming clear that he and Lillard aren't going to be the backcourt duo that could get them over the hump.

There have been a lot murmurs regarding a McCollum trade lately, and there are reportedly four teams who are taking a closer look at him.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are one possible destination for McCollum, according to Jabari Young of NBC Sports. The San Antonio Spurs like McCollum, but they haven't gained traction on any trade scenarios. Also, the Miami Heat could entertain a trade for McCollum, if they are unable to land Damian Lillard.

The Los Angeles Clippers have been linked to McCollum as well, but they will only pursue a trade if they don't meet expectations this season. They were rumored to build a package around Paul George, but they may be out of the equation now since they have gone deep into the playoffs, even without their star Kawhi Leonard.

The Spurs are one team to keep a close eye on because they will most likely allow DeMar DeRozan to walk in free agency or perhaps use him in a sign-and-trade for McCollum. Ultimately, they do have the cap space to consume McCollum's contract with a simple trade involving a player who is under contract for next season.

McCollum, 29, has three years, $100 million remaining on his deal.
