Sixers Reject Indiana's Offer For Ben Simmons, Reveal Asking Price
The Philadelphia 76ers have started exploring trade offers for Ben Simmons, who was disappointing during the playoffs, but haven't found anything they like.
The Sixers most recently declined a trade offer from the Indiana Pacers featuring Malcolm Brogdon and a first-round draft pick. They intend to trade Simmons only if they get an All-Star caliber player in return.
Brogdon, 28, averaged 21.2 points, 5.9 assists, and 5.3 rebounds this season, but he was a long way from being an All-Star.
The Sixers will continue to field offers, but they are probably not going to be too aggressive in pursuing a trade since it's been noted that they want to continue working with Simmons to improve his shooting. However, if there is a deal that they favor, they will most certainly take it.
