HAWKS RECEIVE GOOD NEWS ON TRAE YOUNG

BY VAHAN
Going into a must-win Game 6, Hawks point guard Trae Young will play after missing two games due to a foot injury, according to Malika Andrews of ESPN.

Young sustained the injury in Game 3 after accidentally stepping on a referee's foot. He suffered a bone bruise in his foot, and the Hawks went 1-1 in the two games he missed.

With Giannis Antetokounmpo out, the Hawks have an excellent chance of forcing a Game 7 now, especially being on their home floor.

Speaking of Giannis, who has already been ruled out for Game 6, he will potentially return if the series extends to a Game 7, Chris B. Haynes reports.

If the series does go to a Game 7, it would be ideal for Giannis to play in a win-or-go-home situation, even if he has to play hurt. However, if the Bucks end the series in six, the NBA finals won't start until July 8, giving Giannis ample amount of time to recover.
