There have been rumors swirling around the league that the Los Angeles Lakers could pursue a deal for Russell Westbrook this offseason, and those rumors are starting to take an interesting turn.


Anthony Davis and LeBron James most recently followed Russell Westbrook's wife, Nina, on Instagram, and fans have gone crazy over it.




It may just be an innocent follow, but fans love to closely examine social media activity and analyze. It is strange how in the last 24 hours Kyle Kuzma removed Lakers from his bio, and Davis and James followed Westbrook's wife.

At this point, it's nothing but speculation. However, social media activity has become a major resource for those who love to examine things closely. Social media has, after all, become a serious place for players to voice frustration or post cryptic posts about their future decisions.

The Lakers are expected to trade Kuzma this offseason, and they are linked to many big names already.

Additionally, the Wizards and head coach Scott Brooks, who had a great relationship with Westbrook, parted ways. There is reason to believe that Washington may head towards a rebuild and trade its star players.
